R & T Electric was founded in 1983 in Sacramento by Rod McColloch. The R & T stands for Rod and his wife Terri. Rod has an AS degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona. We have been located in El Dorado County since 1989 and successfully serviced both Sacramento and El Dorado Counties for nearly 30 years. We are a family owned and operated business which provides electrical work, repairs, construction, service calls on residential, business, commercial and industrial properties.

We provide clean, reliable and on time service to all our customers (new and old). This is proven by the fact that over 80% of our work comes from ‘repeat and referral’ customers.

We are in good standing with both the Contractors State License Board and the Better Business Bureau and are proud to say that there has never been a complaint filed against us!
